Yatule Resort & Spa ★★★

The staff are amazing!! Location is excellent

Some of the facilities are getting a bit dated (but still fine). ***But!!! We heard they are planning a re-vamp very soon.

Beds were super comfortable. Staff were very friendly.

Lack of fans in outdoor dining area. Flies were terrible at that time.

Natadola beach is amazing and literally must keep this place afloat! It is overpriced for what it provides - but if you want the beach on the mainland - this is it! Good in the restaurant is great but unreliable …. So much about Yatule could be amazing with a bit more efficiency and effort…

Bures were so small - like cells! Nowhere optional to sit other than on beds. No cover outside so that isn’t an option for sitting. Not enough working sun loungers or Umbrellas. Bar pool is so broken it is embarrassing and never open despite the sign being out out daily. Don’t count on your room being serviced daily either! This is the Fijian Fawlty towers! I feel like they are really hanging onto the Natadola beach for two of its stars!

The location right on the beach, room size, comfy bed, very good bathroom, air conditioning, amenities, wifi and swimming pool.

For the category of the resort the breakfast had limited choices. Unfriendly staff at the restaurant with some exceptions. Some furniture needs renovation. Non light blocking curtains.

had all brekky, lunch and dinner here and it was superb! Extend my thanks to the chef who cooked the meals! Really enjoyed their seafood specials, as I really enjoyed the whole fish!

Sitting outdoors there can be like 1-2 flies that fly around your food whilst eating. Would be nice if there was a ceiling fan, or those portable table fans to shoo away the flies :)

Beach is amazing, people beautiful

Location was excellent. Beach and beach access was excellent. Quite without being too secluded. Reasonably good entertainment.

Poor phone and wifi Rooms a bit tired.

Wonderful staff and wonderful location. Catering was very good. Venue could do with a refresh overall but ambience more than made up for this.

Just a refresh of the rooms which are a bit dated. Lighter colours and brightness would be good.

This was our last stop in Fiji before going back home. It was the most expensive night of our trip, but nothing crazy like the neighbor hotel. I was crying for a hot shower after three weird days in Taveuni with almost no water so my highlight will go for the amazing water pressure and water temperature!! The beach is beautiful, the bar had great cocktails and friendly staff. My breakfast was awesome and came super quick. It was great to have option to walk to the other hotel for meal. We had a delayed flight and it was easy to organize for a late check out (paid extra of course). I wish I had a bed that comfortable at home.

The outdoor swimming pool was there, but the "swim-up bar" was closed and it was cleared not in use for a very long time! I was actually looking forward to seeing that so iit was quite disappointing. Tried to dine at the restaurant was a nightmare, looks like "they were busy" as the waitress told me when I had to ask for the menu twice and for my wine a another couple times when the meal was already served. The food was nothing special and for a place that advertises itself as "specialized in seafood" there was minimal options and nothing impressive. We ended up having lunch next day at Intercontinental instead. Everything cost extra - internet in your room, paddle board, kayaks, etc. The sign for the hotel can be quite tricky and I had to call to ask where to go (and they were super helpful when I was a little lost by the way).

Great place ...excellent location..very kind and helpful staff..the bure was awsome..the beach beautiful..plenty of choices for activities around the island..definetely recommended!!

The size of the resort was perfect. Not too big. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. A feeling of being in a village opposed to corporate hotel.

Probably the lighting in the bathroom. Hard to put makeup on as dark.

The beach front location is fantastic.

The property seemed a little run down. It could do with a little Reno. And the access to the property could be better with proper roads.

Great beach, nice breakfast, room good. Lovely clean-looking pool. Friendly restaurant staff & barman - remember "Wahini Martini" !

No cushion for hard chairs. On arrival, shower leaked over bathroom floor until fixed. Screen door bolt hole needs fixing - basic maintenance. One of the receptionists was most unfriendly & unhelpful. Did not want to help us with our return plane ticket problem (after we had tried to resolve it ourselves), and after 2 days trying to get soap & washers for our room, she basically told us to get our own! Pre-organised late checkout not communicated to cleaning staff. She totally ignored us when we said goodbye - the opposite of friendly helpful attitude, and is bad P.R. for the resort. Gobsmacked. Other reception staff terrific. Major problem with one chef - (the Chinese food was fantastic -best Mongolian sizzle ever!) but my last dinner was a debacle & not sorted well. Tandoori fish & bread were stone cold & fish overcooked to rock-hard, replaced with wrong meal 25 minutes later, and still rock hard - inedible, and my tablemates had all long finished their meals before mine arrived. Heard other guests complaining about their Indian food as well - get this sorted. Also, most of us hated screamingly loud doof-doof music from International resort next door - entirely inappropriate, unnecessary, not conducive to a relaxing holiday.

The staff were wonderful, definitely our best stay out of all the properties we stayed in and right next door to the Natadola Golf Course. We'll be back next year and can't forget the beach, great to swim without coral and reef.

The beach was incredible. The Fijian staff are beautiful people

The rooms are run down. No fans in room just air conditioning which are really dirty/mouldy. You have to pay for paddle boards canoes etc. they need to buy some paddles for the boards. The boards are rather run down. Thre is a couple of new lounge chairs. But the majority are old and split Was a little disappointed that their is no Fiji dancing, carva ceremony or Fijian lovo You can have a lovo if you pay extra for it

The Amazing ocean view and direct ocean access from the bungalows was very convenient. Natadolo beach is beautiful! Yatule had great food in the restaurant and helpful and friendly staff. It’s really a small, beautiful, personal and friendly place!

The breakfast was limited and to sweet with few alternatives if you don’t eat sugar!

Location was fanastic! Staff were lovely!! We will be back

Pool Bure room was getting a little tired but was fanastic value and we would defintely stay again

We loved the smaller size of this resort and it's location on the beach. The food was great, the spa experiences were fabulous. We did all our activities around the resort, which was just fine!
